One of the forgotten men of Craven Cottage, Andranik Teymourian, made the news yesterday.
The Iranian, who has had a far from successful career with us, for one reason or another, is keen to further his career with a move away from West London.
In fact Andranik is insistent that he`d prefer to chance his arm in Europe rather than return to Iran, commenting,
‘I wanted to join another team in the winter break, but I did not receive a good offer.”
‘I am determined to stay in Europe and I don’t want to return to Iran.”
‘Roy Hodgson prefers to use the other players at Fulham and I cannot stay at Craven Cottage. I am sure I am going to have brighter days in European football.’
He may well find regular first team action elsewhere but I doubt whether it`ll be at the level we operate at!
