After the shenanigans relating to the weakened team that Fulham put out a few weeks ago, a weakened team that saw West Ham launch a vociferous protest, there`s an outside chance that the ‘weak` eleven Roy put out at Everton could contravene Premier League rules.

With only Mark Schwarzer and Chris Baird name din the starting eleven that competed against Hamburg, there may be a few eye-brows raised down in Soho Square.

But, with the result not affecting either end of the table, (Sir) Roy feels that Fulham should be okay, remarking,

“I`ll be amazed if the changes are questioned by the Premier League.”

“After 90 minutes in Hamburg, it would have been very hard for us to reproduce the performance here – and the second leg was always going to be my priority.”

Honesty is always the best policy!

As an aside, now West Ham United are safe, will they still keep up with their moan about the weakened side we put out at Hull?

  • Its a punishment I would be willing to accept considering the rest our starting eleven got from it.

  • The 2nd team at Hull was awful, but they played well enough at Everton to avoid any complaints, I think.

  • no kids except smailing and he is worth 10 mill most internationals what more do you want

  • I have to tell ya, the longer the season goes on, the happier I am with the Smalling transfer. I know he’s young, but the calamity that seems to surround him reminds of the Newcastle version of Titus Bramble. I’m just saying…

  • I have to agree with Teddy on this one, what’s this now his second own goal in severn or eights starts, just give us the £10M and send him up north

  • the price tag is begining to take its toll on the lad maybe fergy can give him the hair dreyer treatment no preasure me thinks
