The latest target that Fulham have been linked to in the transfer market is that of Marlon Harewood.

The West Ham striker, who had an indifferent season as the Hammers struggled last year, is surplus to requirements at Upton Park. It is believed that his services could be achieved for a fee somewhere in the region of £2.5 million.

Harewood, who previously played for Nottingham Forest before signing for West Ham is seen as the ideal strike partner for David Healy by our new boss, Lawrie Sanchez.

Healy, is expected to arrive at Craven Cottage as soon as the transfer embargo Leeds are operating under, since going into administration, is lifted.

Hopefully, our close season can be kick-started by the arrival of Healy, however, whether Harewood would be prepared to move across London is unknown.
