Some you win and some you lose!

After being in, reportedly, pole position to sign Shaun Wright-Phillips, it appears we may be about to lose out.

Reports filtering through infer that Wright-Phillips has a preference for Bolton Wanderers, seemingly preferring their style of football (?).

The suggestion is given further foundation by the fact that Wright-Phillips was spotted at the Reebok Stadium last night watching Bolton take on Chelsea.

Now we could cling on to faint hopes that he was merely watching his old team and we could hope that he`d be dissuaded from remaining in the north-west, but, if he`s not that keen to return to West London then perhaps we`d be better off without him!

  • i can’t really get too upset… he’s older than i thought, and hasn’t played for a while… oh well…

  • Well come on guys be serious? Fulham or Bolton? He`s going to choose us everytime! We play better football, we have a stronger attack, and a bigger fan base! I am not really bothered if we get him or not we already have Chung Yong – Lee, whom i think is as good. Just though i`d level with you guys. Looking forward to making the trip to Craven Cottage, we always seem to have a stale game against you guys… I think with how we have been playing recently, you haven`t got a chance.

  • Bolton play better football? Bolton?? Anyway, thought the move for SWP was a waste of time so not in the least bit bothered about this. Why aren’t we linked with any strikers? We’ve got loads of wingers
