Fulham came from one down to beat Bolton two one. Two goals in the space of three minutes from David Healy, grabbing his second goal of the season and Alexy Smertin, scoring his first goal for Fulham ensured a Fulham victory.

Following the much played script, Heidar Helguson scored against his former club after a mistake from Tony Warner. A long throw in from Bolton ended in Warner coming and claiming the ball but then then as he looked to throw the ball out to start up a counter attack, it went from his clasp and Helguson tapped the ball home.

It could have been two nil with Nicolas Anelka, skipping past Baird before unleashing a low drive towards goal which Warner did exceptionally well to tip away from a corner.

On the stroke of twenty minutes, Paul Konchesky swung in a delicious ball which was turned away brilliantly by the Bolton defence whilst Simon Davies tested Jaaskelainen with a left footed volley.

Then a Fulham corner which then insured a goal mouth scramble, the ball fell to Healy who calmly slotted the ball into the top corner.

Before Fulham fans had time to sit down after celebrating Healys goal, they were cheering loudly again. A cleared ball fell to the feet of Alexy Smertin who through a deflection guided the ball home from twenty yards.

A decent bit of defending from Bocanegra denied Diouf whilst Bolton were enjoying attack after attack.

In the second half Tony Warner produced an outstanding save from Nicolas Anelka, the Frenchman aiming a shot towards the top corner, Warner tipping it just wide for a corner.

Gavin McCann flashed a header wide whilst Kamara saw his attempt flash wide whilst Nicky Hunt had Boltons best clear cut chance but skied it over Warners bar.

Lee Probert brought an end to the game and Fulham fans were left to cheer their way home.
