Fulham Supports Decrees Defender Needs To Up His Game To Stay In The Starting XI

|

The last two Premier League games Fulham have been involved in, Manchester City (a) and Watford (h), have seen the side concede very early goals that have gone on to dictate the pattern of the game.

Last weekend, against Watford, at Craven Cottage, Fulham had a bad first forty-five minutes where the defence looked really shaky.

After the game, and as reported by Vital Fulham, Click Here, social media was alive with criticism relating to the performance of our on-loan player, Callum Chambers.

Here at Vital Fulham, we decided to canvas your opinion on how you perceived the defender played, by asking the pertinent question:

How Did Chambers Do Against Watford?

We gave you four options to choose from:

• He was poor.

• He was okay.

• He needs to improve dramatically.

and

• He was top-notch.

The response was fascinating with 43% being of the opinion that Chambers needs to improve dramatically if he is to remain in the starting eleven.

Continuing the trend, 26% thought his performance was poor whilst only 25% rated it as okay.

Meanwhile, some obviously thought Callum was the only defender not to be at fault with 6% believing he was top-notch.

Therefore, our conclusion based on the poll results is that Callum needs to up his game.

Let’s hope that starts today up at Goodison Park.
