When it comes to football supporters, it would appear that patience is not a virtue they hold dear.
One win from ten Premier League games has seen Fulham descend into the bottom three, five points from a possible thirty available is relegation form.
With that being the scenario, it’s possibly not unexpected that Slavisa Jokanovic has come under fire on social media.
It appears that the Serbian, despite his heroics last season, could, if the Fulham support have their way, be headed for the exit, with the following posts highlighting that sentiment:
Sack this Jokanovic garbage he’s not an EPL-level coach
— İBRAHİM KETEN (@ibrahim_keten) October 27, 2018
We owe Jokanović a big debt of gratitude for staying at the club and take Fulham up. Saying that the club has to come first and Jokanović has been found wanting.Need to make the change while we still can and bring in a new manager before the January break.

Jokanovic needs to go before it's too late. He isn't the man for this level. He's bloody clueless
— Danny D (@TripleD_DDD) October 27, 2018
Meanwhile, another post suggests that Jokanovic might be safe for now as Shahid Khan has, to put it another way, bigger fish to fry:
it’s at this point we look to Slav to buck his ideas up. Dropping six points & conceding 7 to Cardiff and Bournemouth isn’t on.
He’ll be gone by christmas if we don’t get out of the relegation zone by then, or is Khan too worried about Wembley— Lewis (@FulhamYT) October 27, 2018
But, with social media acting as the perfect judge and jury, it seems that some have already decided who should be brought in to rescue our season:
Bring in big Sam, as I’ve said before. Slav will never change so we must remove him. He is too arrogant and thinks he’s the best manager ever yet he needs to learn that you can’t be right 24/7 and have to adapt

But, is Big Sam the man, or should somebody who took an unlikely looking candidate to Premier League glory, the preferred man?
Jokanovic out, Ranieri in
— Norik Hoxha (@hoxha_norik) October 27, 2018
Bring Claudio Ranieri in????????
— Matteo Solinghi (@TeokSic58) October 27, 2018
But there are some who think Jokanovic is the man, well for now anyway:
I’d keep faith with the manager! I don’t wanna sack him cos we’re on a bad run! Saying that If we don’t get 4 points out of our next 3 league games I want change
— james arney (@j_arney) October 27, 2018
Whilst another offers an alternative view completely:
Okay…a very bad run at the moment…but I'd say : Keep calm and trust @Jokanovic ! #FFC #COYW #FULBOU #PremierLeague @BBCSport @BBCLondonSport @London24Sport

Personally, I reckon patience needs to be shown but for how long?
Christmas and the New Year are fast approaching, that old adage about very few teams who occupy the bottom three rarely escaping relegation, springs to mind.
These are certainly very worrying times down beside the River Thames, who knows what lies around the next corner!
