Fulham – Striker Signing Imminent

With the brand new season just over one week away, with the season opener at home to Newcastle United eagerly anticipated, speculation suggests that Slavisa Jokanovic is close to bringing a new striker to Craven Cottage.

According to a little paragraph in the excellent ‘Transfer Gossip` column in the popular UK tabloid the Sun, the Benin striker Steve Mounie could be set to sign on the dotted line.

Mounie has, according to the Sun, had a medical with Fulham and has discussed private terms.

Although Mounie is classified as a Montpellier player, it appears that his exploits whilst on loan with Nimes last season have gotten him noticed.

At twenty-one years old and standing six feet three inches in his socks, Mounie has the physique to trouble many a defence.

As for a transfer fee, a figure of £6 million is being quoted for his services.
