Fulham – Striker Chase?

Vital Fulham member Fulham7 has alerted us to a rumour that could result in a little bit of history.

According to Sky Sports, Fulham are keen on the Nurnberg striker, Angelos Chariteas.

Chariteas is Greek and is the striker who imprinted his name in the record books when he netted the winning goal when Greece won the Euros (apparently)

At the moment he`s playing in the second tier of German football and has only netted once this season but that hasn`t stopped the interest from mounting.

We have rivals with West Brom also interested and they may have the edge as they want an immediate transfer whilst we are, supposedly, looking at a loan deal until the summer.

We`ll post further on this if there are any further developments.
