Following the injury sustained by Andrew Hodgson, during the first leg of our Europa League tie against Amkar Perm, Fulham are being linked with the signing of a new striker.

The player in question, according to the Daily Mirror is the Slovakian striker, Jan Novak.

Novak, currently playing for Kosice, would command, according to the tabloid, a fee of around £2 million and considering that he`s only 24 would prove to be a more than able investment considering he can, reportedly, play down either flank or through the middle.

We`ll see how this one turns out and report back accordingly!

  • sounds interesting… i definitely think we’ll have another player coming in before the deadline… quite an active transfer summer… we brought in greening, duff, riise, kelly, dikgacoi… am i forgetting anyone? but we need some defensive cover at center back.

  • ya know, i read the interview with eddie johnson on fulhamfc.com, and it seems like he’s coming along leaps and bounds… might still be a year off, but i think he might be worth a punt… maybe not against villa, but maybe… i hope he gets some games in europe or the cups or something…
