Fulham Star Set To Choose Tottenham As Opposed To Manchester United

|

Any hopes the Craven Cottage faithful have with regards to Ryan Sessegnon staying at the club next season, appear to be fast evaporating.

Two snippets of transfer tittle-tattle plucked from the plethora of media articles doing the rounds, appear to prove the above point.

Firstly, lurking in the pages of the Daily Mail is the distinct inference that the 18-year-old left-sided player is set to join Tottenham Hotspur in a deal that will see the North London club acquire his services for a knock-down fee of £25 million.

Secondly, another source, this time the Evening Standard, is reporting that Ryan would prefer to move to Tottenham Hotspur as opposed to another club interested in his services, Manchester United, as he wants to remain in London and also fancies working with the highly rated Tottenham Hotspur coach, Mauricio Pochettino.

Although I’d love to see Ryan stay, I can understand his desire to remain in the top-flight of English football and through gritted teeth, I’d wish him well at White Hart Lane, how about you?
