It`s a topic that continues to intrigue us, namely, the fact that an ex-Spurs player could be the one to knock them out of the FA Cup, to our benefit.

It`s a topic that has been seized upon by one of the Spurs players, Michael Dawson, who has spoken about the dangers he feels Fulham present this Saturday evening, having remarked to the media,

‘We went to Fulham on Boxing Day and whenever you go there its always tough, but we went there a few years ago in the FA Cup and had a good win. Hopefully we’ll have another good win there at the weekend, but we know it will be a difficult game.’

‘Simon Davies was at Tottenham when I first came to the club, and Murph [Danny Murphy] was here as well. I’ve played with Bobby [Zamora] at England Under-21 level but not when he was at Tottenham. They’re good players and we know they’re a good team.”

‘Bobby’s definitely one of the in-form strikers in the Premier League at the moment.”

“Whenever you play against him you know it’s going to be a tough. He’s certainly on fire at the moment, scoring some good goals.

‘I think you look at the way he holds the ball up, his goal scoring, he’s a top player. You come up against so many of them in the Premier League so it’s going to be another good test.’

See lads, we`ve got them running scared already!

  • I really believe Roy Hodgson has done a magnificent job. Fulham are well organised and each man knows his job. On their day they can beat a much weakened Spurs side at Craven Cottage (No Lennon, Ledley?, Jenas, Huddlestone, and Wilson one card away from suspension, ouch!) BUT I think I know who will be most likely in the hat for a semi final – Spurs all the way!

  • well before you go making excuse before the match has started, we’re missing a few starters as well: aj, dempsey, pantsil, konch… i don’t think we have the spuds running scared, but we’re playing well at the moment and the cottage is a fortress… why not fulham? come on you WHITES!

  • No one I know is making excuses – You will miss the Dempsey grit but AJ being out does you a favour – Spurs will be in the hat my friend, count on it!

  • The graceless Spurs fans have gotten the better of me, so casting aside my normal humility (and pessimism), I’ll play their game. I’ll predict Fulham IN A CAKE WALK! The metropolitan police had better ready their patrol boats as there will be countless Spurs fans hurling themselves into the Thames after this one! COYW!

  • Daws has only said complementary things about Fulham. It is you my friend who is being graceless by throwing it in our faces. All I’ll say is may the best team win!

  • running scared?Dont get your hopes up on that one..Players always have to say nice things when interviewed..Hard game, maybe…running scared, def not

  • This game will go to a replay, where you will bring an away support of about 20people 😛 and at WHL we’ll teach you a lesson like we did Bolton – woodysweats your missing aj, dempsey, pantsil, konch but we will be without King, Woodgate, Jenas, Lennon, Huddlestone and Bentley which would all WALK into your team!! but before you get your hopes up will will still have the likes of Bale, Kranjar, Modric, Defoe, Pavlyuchenko available me thinks not so much of a “Cake Walk” Teddy_KGB and to be honest it’s for the good of the cup that 2 from Chelsea, Spurs and Villa are in that final. I like Fulham and don’t usually have a bad word for them but you wanted to stroke the flames with this article and i have well and truely bitten

  • always remember the reason fulham are doing well is all our cast off get senrt there when they cannot cut it as a spurs players, could be atight game ill go for 1, 1 then 3, 1 at the lane. you never no next season we may send you some more cast off, then you can push on again. good luck..

  • all the spurs cast offs and we finished higher then them last year says it all even spurs have to get there players from somewhere how many are home grown
