The transfer window may be shut but already speculation is mounting that Fulham are lining up a bid for a player currently playing in Spain.
In fact, the News of the World seems quite insistent that we`re in the market for the Spanish striker, Alvaro Negredo and that a £7 million bid will be tabled.
Their certainty appears to be based around a quote from the Spaniard who remarking about Fulham`s interest commented,
“They and other English clubs are watching my games but that doesn`t make me nervous. To play in the Premier League is not easy but today, there are many Spaniards over there and this is opening the door for others.”
“If a big offer comes I don`t believe that it would be a problem to close the deal. That is something the president told me.”
Personally, I`ll sit and wait and see what develops on this one, not sure that anything probably will though.
