Having reported that Fulham Football Club had signed the Czech Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas, I made the fatal mistake of taking my eye off the ball.
In doing so another signing almost slipped under the radar, that of Denis Odoi.
The 28-year-old defender has signed for the Cottagers on a three-year deal from the Belgian club, Lokeren.
The three-year deal, so we`re told, has the option of a further year, although the fee remains undisclosed.
