Fulham – Shut Up and Sit Down!

The London Informer is reporting that Kagisho Dikgacoi has requested to be sent out on loan to ensure regular play, thereby securing his spot on the South African World Cup squad.

Are you kidding me?

He’s been with Fulham for a few months and he’s already complaining about playing time.

I’d like to remind Dikgacoi that HE is primarily responsible for his lack of playing time as he brilliantly got himself a straight red card against West Ham in his first start.

Funny how a mandatory three match ban will effect your time on the pitch.

Since his return to eligibility, he’s made two substitute appearances and was an unused substitute on two other occasions.

The continued absence of Dickson Etuhu and the less that stellar performances of Jonathan Greening and Chris Baird in central midfield would likely see Dikgacoi rejoin the starting eleven in the near future, but who knows how this public complaining and impatience will play with Roy.

It’s a tactic that didn’t pay off for Fredrik Stoor.

Dikgacoi joined Fulham from South Africa’s Golden Arrows, which I think most would consider a step up.

Apparently, that’s not good enough for the lad. If being in the South African World Cup squad was his priority, then perhaps he should’ve remained with the Golden Arrows.

Perhaps he should’ve considered the fact that he might not simply be handed a starting position with a Premier League club – even little ol’ Fulham.

Gimme a break. Kagisho Dikgacoi – Shut Up and Sit Down!
