Fulham Set To Spring A Major Transfer Surprise

|

Although Fulham are to be congratulated on ensuring that the likes of Tim Ream and Tom Cairney have put pen-to-paper on new deals the influx of new signings has yet to really commence.

However, here at Vital Fulham, we’re all hopeful that situation will change in the coming weeks.

Yesterday (Wednesday), an interesting piece of speculation appeared in the Sun, that suggested Fulham may be about to pull off something of a signing coup.

According to our referenced source, Fulham are set to beat off competition from Arsenal and Chelsea to land the midfielder Jean Michael Seri.

Seri, just 26-years-of-age, was linked with Barcelona last summer but a move didn’t materialise and the Ivory Coast international remained with Nice.

Last season, in La Ligue, his impressive performances continued with Seri scoring 7 goals and providing 9 assists for the French side.

But, what makes any likely deal really impressive is that our quoted source reckons Fulham have secured Seri’s signature for a fee of just £17.7 million.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we get official confirmation, from Fulham, implying the deal is done and dusted very soon.
