Am I correct in saying that Philippe Senderos was Roy Hodgson`s last signing?
Well the latest reports suggest that Senderos is back in training after being side-lined with an Achilles injury all season.
It is hoped that Senderos will finally get to make his Fulham debut before the season finishes.
His return to full-training has enable our Norwegian defender, Brede Hangeland, to offer the following comments to the tabloid press,
“I would welcome any centre-back to the club.”
“It means that me and Aaron Hughes need to play well to keep our shirt.”
“In football competition brings out the best in people.”
With the Hangeland and Hughes combination having served us so well it`ll be interesting to see if Senderos can break up that partnership and make his mark at Fulham Football Club.
