The grapevine today carries a suggestion that Roy Hodgson has already made plans to cover the possible impending departure of Brede Hangeland.

The Daily Mirror is suggesting that Roy`s scouts have been active in Scandinavia and have located two gems that could be considered as able replacements.

They are Harvard Nordtveit who plays for Lillestrom and Vadim Demidov who plays for Rosenborg.

Whilst neither are household names we should point out that Brede Hangeland was not of that status either.

After the season we`ve had it`s clearly a case of in Roy we must trust.

  • i trust in roy… wow it’s nice to be able to say that about your manager after watching sanchez bring in the northern ireland international squad…

  • If they’re ready to play, fine, but let’s not have another Frederik Stoor. Nordveit seems too young to be in the first team. Also, isn’t he on loan to Lillestrom? Would we be buying him from Arsenal or is it another loan deal, or has his loan to Lillestrom been made permanent? In the dark, here.
