Just as our Mexican sensation was starting to make a name for himself, he picks up what could be a nasty injury.
Carlos Salcido has been a surprise package this season and quickly become a favourite of the Fulham faithful but now, courtesy of a challenge from Luke Young on Saturday, the defender is looking at a spell on the side-lines.
Post match Mark Hughes was far from happy with the Luke Young challenge remarking to the assembled press,
“It doesn`t look good in fairness. He`s in a boot at the moment. I`ve seen the tackle on video and the lad`s gone over the top and I would imagine its ligament damage.”
“I don`t want to say how long but it`ll be a number of weeks.”
