Don`t start celebrating too soon!
We may have clawed ourselves six points clear of the relegation zone thanks to the 3-0 victory over Blackpool but Mark Hughes is urging some caution until it is mathematically impossible for us to go down.
Speaking to the media in the aftermath of our fine victory against a Blackpool side who I expected to trouble us far more than they did, he remarked,
“Safe? There is a worry until you have enough points mathematically.”
But things are looking more positive!
We`re sitting in 10th position, we`re six points clear of relegation and unlike those below us we have a positive goal difference.
Surely time for a small smile!
