Sometimes the tag ‘quaint little club’ can work to our advantage!

We`re not seen as one the arrogant big-four but more as a family club that provides the community with a focal point.

But, that quaint little old club tag can have an adverse affect and on the eve of our crucial Premier League clash with Wolves, Roy Hodgson has spoken out about the frustration of it all, commenting,

“There aren`t many teams who`ll say, ‘Oh my God, it`s Fulham there`s nothing in this for us.`

“I`m afraid that at Fulham we have to live with the fact that teams look at us and expect to get three points.”

“It doesn`t annoy me; we`ve just got to make sure it doesn`t happen. It will be nice one day if people are scared of us and are worried about getting points but we are way from that.”

“We might need to build a 60,000 stadium on the banks of the river first.”

We get your drift Roy but we`re not sure the locals would appreciate their community changing appearance that much!
