As we head off to contemplate two away games, the first being at Anfield against a Stevie Gerrard less Liverpool, we could do with a turnaround in fortunes.
I for one thought we`d ended our dreadful away record with that marvellous end of season escapade last April / May.
Sadly, this season we`ve taken a paltry one point out of the fifteen on offer and things need to change.
Roy Hodgson has spoken about the matter and has suggested that `Lady Luck` seems to be favouring us at home and deserting us away from home, remarking,
“What luck we have had has been at home. Away from home luck has deserted us.”
‘Quite often…opposing managers will say we have been unlucky and deserved more from the game. In this league away wins are hard to come by.”
That`s probably very true Roy but away wins bring contentment and a warm glowing feeling that shows we`re not relying on purely our home form to make an impression this season.

well isn’t it about time we wined and dined her?
I always thought luck evened itself out over a season!
Goals win games, we need to keep our consentration, especially in the last ten minutes, lady luck !, she helps of course, but in this world you make your own luck.
