Whilst the first team are struggling to register a win after four straight defeats, the reserves showed them how it was done last.
Playing against a West Ham United side they emerged 4-1 victors.
The Cottagers side contained five internationals and it was that class that told after West Ham had initially frustrated them with a performance designed to stifle rather than eek out a win.
However, at a chilly Motspur Park, our experience finally showed and goals from Erik Nevland (40 mins), Two minutes later we were three up thanks to goals from Seol Ki-Hyeon and Julian Gray.
So from holding the opposition at the thirty-nine minute mark, the visitors went into the half time break losing 3-0.
Ten minutes into the second half West Ham reduced the arrears through Eviolfsson but Wayne Brown was to have the final word for us midway through the half with a rasping thirty yard shot.
All in all, a satisfying result and a satisfying performance.
