Could Real Madrid have done Fulham a huge favour?

With Roy Hodgson seemingly the favourite to succeed Rafael Benitez at Liverpool, it appears another creditable candidate has now also joined the race.

Manuel Pellegrini, sacked by Real Madrid and subsequently replaced by Jose Mourinho, is now mentioned as being a front runner on a list of three that also includes Sir Roy and Kenny Dalglish.

Could Real Madrid have done us a huge favour?

  • Oh let’s hope so, losing Roy would be the worst thing that has happened to us in a long time, even worse than employing Dirty Sanchez

  • I’m so weary of this story. I don’t want Roy to leave, but I don’t want this to drag on any longer, either. I wish the Liverpool board would just make a decision.

  • pelligrini won mutlitple league titles, why not? what has (sir) roy ever won? (shhh… don’t look at his cv)

  • king kenny has to be there choice although the way things are going we could lose roy to england
