It`s never nice to see a fellow London side struggling.

Despite the rivalry there is a certain degree of camaraderie amongst the capitals clubs.

But, putting sentiment to one side, would we be too bothered if West Ham United were to miss out on qualification through a formality?

Apparently, the East London outfit have yet to apply for a UEFA Club licence.

Without one you cannot compete in Europe and the stumbling block, as far as the Hammers are concerned, relates to the possibility of the ownership of the club changing hands in the immediate future.

Now wouldn`t it be funny if it got lost in the post?

  • I thought I read somewhere that they had missed the deadline which was in April but i could be wrong, but I hope i’m not 🙂

  • Just like Man City got the Fair Play spot last season, if West Ham finish 7th, something tells me they’ll get some sort of special dispensation to allow them to compete; paperwork deadline or not.

  • In a way though I think if we got through on a technicality then it gives the media more room to give us stick as a club.

  • What is with West Ham. Firstly they cheat with Tevez and now they dont play by the rules again. What the f*** is with that?
