With our up and coming away match with Portsmouth at Fratton Park this weekend, Harry has some injury concern’s.

Portsmouth’s Gary O’Neil is a major doubt for the clash on Saturday after suffering a hamstring strain at Old Trafford.

It is too early to say whether the injury is serious, as far as hamstring strains go, but it seems highly likely O’Neil will be absent from a Premiership game for the first time this season.

That comes on top of the blow that Glen Johnson’s injury is a thigh tear – and he could be out for a number of weeks.

It will break up the right-sided partnership which has been so devastating for Pompey this season, especially at home, just as Pompey need a full-strength side to kick on and make sure they do not blow the excellent start which sees them still in the top four after 11 games.

In the light of this, Redknapp probably won’t be best pleased there are a round of international friendlies to be played next week.

Niko Kranjcar is in the Croatian squad to face Israel in Tel Aviv on November 15, which will probably mean him leaving the Blues squad straight after the Fulham game and not rejoining them until the day before they host Watford a week later.

Additionally, Ognijen Koroman is in the Serbia squad to face Norway while Manuel Fernandes is on stand-by for a place in the Portugal squad, who are also in action next midweek.

There is no news yet as to whether Sol Campbell and Linvoy Primus will both be fit to resume their commanding defensive partnership so missed in Manchester on Saturday.

At the moment the Strikers are fit for Pompey but you never know your luck as we need some luck to beat Harry’s high flying side at Fratton park.
