Sixth in our series is John Pantsil.

Upon arriving during last summer from West Ham along with Bobby Zamora, many were not sure whether the Ghanian right back would have a starting role in the team over Fredrik Stoor who had been signed by Hodgson.

However, John Pantsil has become a cult favourite and has earned his place in the starting line-up this season.
Pantsil had not had much of a chance at the Hammers despite playing internationally for Ghana on several occasions.

And seeing as Hodgson himself had signed Stoor before Pantsil, it seemed likely that Stoor would take the first team right back role for this season.

However, Pantsil got the nod over Stoor and displayed his pace and solid wing back play through-out the season.

Pantsil is certainly a fan favourite partly due to his lap of honour after each home game.

But his performances during the season have also earned him a good reputation despite some theat-rics involving Ricardo Fuller at Stoke, a moment that no Fulham fan enjoyed.

After an impressive first season for us, I look forward to seeing John Pantsil continue his hard work at right back next season.
