One of the great things about this weekend is that it gives Bobby Zamora and John Pantsil the chance to pit their wits against their former club.

The duo were signed during the summer transfer window as West Ham sought to reduce their overheads, presumably as the Upton Park outfit experienced their own version of the credit crunch before the rest of us followed suit.

Surfing the various West Ham forums, at the time, it became obvious that the sale of the duo, and Zamora in particular, didn’t go down well with the Boleyn supporters.

Out of the two it’s currently difficult to decide who has settled down the better.

Pantsil is fast establishing himself as something of a cult terrace hero with his antics quickly endearing himself to the Craven Cottage faithful.

Zamora, on the other hand, is in an advantageous position, as a striker he was always going to be revered, especially if he can reproduce the goal scoring form he showed against Bolton Wanderers a little less than two weeks ago.

Also, coming into the equation, when we talk about players who have moved from East to West London, is Paul Konchesky.

However, Paul’s arrival was on far more acrimonious terms with something much more serious than verbal banter being exchanged.

The football history books suggest that one of the three will score against their former club, it happens all the time.

Therefore, my question to you is – which of those three will become our hero on Saturday evening?
