John Pantsil is a fully committed footballer!

He plays with a passion that many others should try to heed and try to adapt into their own game, but he`s not a dirty player that`s for sure.

Therefore, we`re a little aghast to read in the tabloid press that Mr Zuiverloon, of West Bromwich Albion, remains a little disturbed about the tackle that resulted in Mr Cech leaving the field injured, on Tuesday night.

Speaking about the challenge, the West Brom defender had this to say,

“It was a very nasty tackle, right on his shin and it could have broken his leg.”

“It was something we were very mad about.”

“The tackle was right in front of the linesman and I think he should have seen it.”

Am I missing something here? It didn`t look that bad to me!

  • Zuiverloon has over reacted here. 50/50 challenge where the player on the floor has gone off worse. As well Zuiverloon, it was his knee, not his shin.

  • i’m sure Murphy had already punished him in the dressing room, so there’s no more problem

  • Haven’t seen the tackle in question, so I can’t comment on it. Pantsil is not a dirty player. He makes you work for your pay check, but he’s not dirty. On a completely separate note, Zuiverloon is good young player. We might consider poaching him from WBA.
