The failed attempt to lure Peter Crouch to Craven Cottage last season has reared its head with a surprising twist.
Yesterday, the news broke that Fulham are taking legal action after it emerged that after having had an £11 million bid for Peter Crouch accepted, Sir Dave Richards, chairman of the Premier League, called Peter Crouch to tell him to sign for Spurs.
Now it appears that an internal investigation carried out by the Premier League found that nothing out of order had occurred (surprise, surprise) but Fulham are having none of it and believe they were cheated out of a deal that looked as if it was going to go ahead.
To back their case one leading red-top infers that Fulham have contacted every other Premier League club in case they are able to offer assistance.
We`re not sure this is the sort of thing we like to see our humble club involved in but if we have been wronged then we`ve every right to fight our corner have we not!
