Just recently we reported on how it looked very much as if Fulham were set to lose their young French striker, Moussa Dembele.

Reports suggested that Dembele would be leaving Craven Cottage to venture into Turkish football with it being hinted that Galatasaray were the favourites to grab is signature, beating a whole raft of other clubs in the process.

Here at Vital Fulham we intimated that losing Dembele would be a body-blow, especially considering a move abroad would see Fulham deprived of an development revenue.

However, much to our delight, it seems that Fulham are not going to just lay down and let Dembele leave Craven Cottage.

Our associates at GetWestLondon are reporting that Fulham have offered an improved contract to the 19-year-old.

Let`s all keep our fingers crossed that Dembele finds the new deal attractive enough to stay at Craven Cottage and assist us in our quest to return to the Premier League in the future.
