If you believe the rumours coming out of the media, Fulham have moved ahead of Spurs in the race to sign Peter Crouch.

Apparently, Harry Redknapp has muttered something about the price Portsmouth want being disruptive to Spurs concluding a deal.

But, listening to Paul Hart, interviewed on Sky Sports News, the newly confirmed Portsmouth manager smiled wryly and refused to even acknowledge that Peter Crouch would be moving on!

What a muddy puddle this one is turning into!

  • spurs are waiting on huntelaar if we dont sign him then crouchy will be a spur again. Not that we need another stricker.

  • I think that Crouch would prefer us to Fulham, due to past links with the club and of course Harry, but this will all be about price as far as Pompey are concerned. Sunderland set the bench mark in agreeing a 12m deal, which is seemingly too high for Spurs (and rightly so IMO) if you offer that figure, then it will all be down to Crouch and whether he take the deal. personally I am not overly bothered either way to be honest but feel 12m is comfortably 4m over priced for a player of his age and what he can offer.

  • he will be good we need someone who will get us 15 plus goals a seanson and he will do that

  • You will probably get him as the rumours in the media are that Huntelaar is a done deal.
