Once again, as the 2010 World Cup draws ever nearer, the clamour for our Bobby Zamora to at least be given a chance grows.

Last night Bobby scored another superb goal, his 18th strike of the season, whilst also setting up the second for Damien Duff.

After the game, (Sir) Roy Hodgson once again spoke about Bobby commenting on his recent performances, explaining,

“Is he international class? He is doing it against international class opponents.”

“Bobby has done well against Roma, Juventus, Basel, Shakhtar Donetsk and now Wolfsburg.” So it would be unfair to say he only does it in the Premier League.”

Here at Vital Fulham we fear that time is running out for Bobby. With only a friendly fixture, against Mexico, to come, Bobby may be joining the rest of us in watching the tournament on the television.

  • he deserves the call up, he really does… can we keep hold of him this summer? i hope so… i said earlier this season that if bobby had all his skills and added goals to the equation, he probably wouldn’t be a fulham player… let’s see how well that holds come the summer… i hope he stays, oh bobby zamoooooooooooora…
