Those comments made by Danny Murphy have certainly kept the journalists happy this week.
Yet another figure, in football, has come out and given Danny something to think about. This time it`s the Blackburn boss, Sam Allardyce, who believes Danny was in the wrong but more importantly Sam is banging his drum about Danny making an apology of sorts, with Sam being quoted as having remarked to the red-top media,
“it`s not for me to get hold of Danny Murphy. It would be more appropriate if Danny Murphy came out and said, ‘Perhaps I shouldn`t have said what I said.”
“If he`s man enough he`ll apologise. But he`s said it and we have to defend ourselves against it”
Man enough!

I`d have though it was manlier to tell the world the truth not hide behind it like most seem to be doing!
But, also luring in The Sun are a few words from their respected journalist, Steve Howard, with Danny getting his backing when he remarks,
“Football owes Danny a huge favour – not condemnation.”
Exactly Steve!
And as an aside just who does Sam Allardyce think he is to set the moral high ground?
