With the January transfer window set to close in a matter of days, Fulham have done some business with their Championship rivals, Burton Albion.

The Cottagers have loaned the club, managed by Nigel Clough, both Cauley Woodrow and Lasse Vigen Christensen.

The duo, both 22-years-of-age, will stay with Burton Albion until the end of the current season.

Christensen, who has more than 50 appearances for Fulham to his name but hasn`t started a match in the Championship this season.

Woodrow hasn`t fared much better, having started just 1 Championship game.

Talking about securing the services of the dip, Nigel Clough is quoted as having remarked,

‘Lasse has a good season or so under his belt in the Championship. He’s been a bit unlucky not to feature much this season, but they see him in their long-term plans and it will help him to play for us.

‘Cauley is one to add to our striking options. With Luke Varney out for four to six weeks and Will Miller’s hamstring injury, it was important to get another striker in.’

Both players could make their debuts for Burton in the Championship fixture with Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.

Here at Vital Fulham we wish both players well at Burton.
