After adding Maxime Le Marchand to the central defenders available to him, it is being reported that Slavisa Jokanovic is looking to bring yet another centre back to Craven Cottage.

According to the very informative news source, Sky Sports, Fulham are amongst a trio of Premier League clubs who are looking to sign the Swansea City defender Alfie Mawson, with West Ham United and Burnley also interested.

After being relegated last season Swansea City are looking to reshape their squad.

However, anybody who wants to sign Mawson will have to offer a transfer fee somewhere in the region of the £20 million the Swans want.

But, in considering a bid for the player, perhaps it should be taken into the equation the fact that Mawson is still recovering from knee surgery at the end of last season and is still working his way back to full fitness.

Already the subject of Mawson possibly signing for Fulham has generated interest on the social network media forums:

But, what’s your view, would Alfie Mawson be a great addition to the side or do you have your reservations?

  • A M Is a wonderful lad polite and respectful. A excellant centre back very comfortable on the ball . A good purchase at between 15-20 million.
