The 2018 / 2019 season is a little over a week away.

Already, this summer the Cottagers have shown how ambitious, as a club, they are, by bringing in six new additions to the squad – Jean Michael Seri, Maxime Le Marchand, Fabrico, Andre Schurrle, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Alfie Mawson.

In the last twenty-four hours, speculation has surfaced that suggests the club could be set to add a seventh.

According to the news source, the Daily Mail Fulham are set to launch a bid to bring the Real Madrid right-back, Theo Hernandez, to Craven Cottage on a season-long loan deal.

At the Bernabeu, Hernandez isn’t a first-team regular but, last season, made 13 appearances in La Liga and also notched up 3 appearances as Real Madrid retained the Champions League.

With Ryan Fredericks having left the club, to move to West Ham, the club needs a replacement, even more so if they are to have depth in each position in the squad.

Will they be successful with this ambitious approach, let’s hope so, anything seems possible when it comes to transfers this summer.
