With the list of clubs looking to sign, if the reports are correct, Ross McCormack growing by the day, an interesting piece of transfer speculation has come our way today.

According to our friends at shoot, Click Here, Fulham Football Club are being linked with the young Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford.

Bamford, who is out of the first team picture at Stamford Bridge, has been on loan to several clubs in recent seasons, namely MK Dons, Derby County, Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace and Norwich City.

His spells at Crystal Palace and Norwich City proved disappointing with the young striker getting very little regular first team action.

However, Fulham supporters will recall that Bamford was a massive hit at the other three clubs in the list, MK Dons, Derby County and Middlesbrough. At the latter Bamford`s scoring exploits set new club records and he ended the season as the ‘Football League Player of the Year`.

But if Fulham are to take the youngster there`s a lot of opposition to fight off with the likes of Celtic, Aston Villa, Queens Park Rangers and Wolverhampton Wanderers all being mentioned as possible destinations.

Perhaps though, our neighbours will do us a favour!
