Recruiting the manager of our choice might be a problematic experience at the moment but being linked to players is becoming almost second nature.

The latest name to be linked with a possible move to Craven Cottage is an ex-Arsenal player currently deemed as surplus to requirements at the Nou Camp.

Many of you will remember Alexander Hleb from his Arsenal days and many of you will recall that Barcelona parted with £10 million to secure his services. Well now it appears that as little as £3 million will secure his services with Fulham and Birmingham being named as two possible destinations.

Should we pursue or should we leave well alone?

  • How could you lot sign players without the approval of your new manager? Seems to me like there’s no chance you’ll sign anyone until the manager has signed on… A shame you missed out on Jol, fantastic coach.

  • he’s a good player, but he didn’t score much, and he seemed a bit of a diva… he could work though…
