Although the transfer window has been open for some twelve days, it`s fair to say that there has been very little activity, at Craven Cottage, when it comes to incoming transfers.

However, that could be about to change.

Lurking in the sports pages of the number one tabloid publication this country produces, The Sun, is the inference that Fulham are interested in acquiring the services of a player who is currently on the books of a Premier League side.

The player in question is Lewis Grabban.

Grabban is currently contracted to AFC Bournemouth but the striker has fallen down the pecking order at the south-coast club since re-joining from Norwich City.

His goals contribution since re-joining ‘The Cherries` has been restricted to just the 1 and our referenced source reckons that a fee of £7 million could secure his services.

However, it appears that there are other clubs linked with the striker with Leeds United and Brighton and Hove Albion mentioned.

Here at Vital Fulham we`ll keep abreast of any developments over the coming days and report back as necessary.
