Rumours are still dominating the gossip columns as the opening of the transfer window continues to provide much speculation.

This morning, according to one leading tabloid, we`re linked to the promising Manchester City defender, Nedum Onuoha.

Onuoha, twenty-two years of age, burst onto the scene last season and many thought that he had a great future ahead of him at Manchester City.

But, it would appear that he could well be a casualty of the old-Manchester City as the richest club in the English Premier League seeks to bolster its squad with an influx of top signings.

Naturally, it`s suggested that Fulham have rivals in the chase for Onuoha with Wigan, Blackburn Rovers, Newcastle United and Paris St Germain all mentioned in the same article.

Perhaps out chances of actually securing his signature are best reflected by the immediate suggestion that Sam Allardyce, if Roque Santa Cruz heads towards Eastlands, would insist on Onuoha being part of any deal.

As usual we`ll try and bring you any updates.

  • Rumours? Dominating the gossip columns? I never! LOL

If you’re after any of our players you are welcome to Vassell, Ball, Bad Haim, Fernandes or Hamann, but few City fans would be happy to see Onuoha leave, even though he does spend a lot of time injured.

Although if you fancied a swap for Bullard that might soften the blow!

  • He would be a great addition, pace, great awareness and very physical player, bring him in ROY!

  • it would be a kick in the teeth for our youngster in the youth and reserve teams, lets give them atry before we go out and buy
