(Sir) Roy Hodgson surprised us all with his starting eleven tonight, opting t play virtually, apart from Zamora, the line-up we expect to start in Hamburg next Wednesday.

With a Europa League Final, in Hamburg, to consider, Roy has opted for the following,

Fulham – Schwarzer, Pantsil, Hughes, Hangeland, Konchesky, Duff, Murphy, Etuhu, Davies, Dempsey, Gera

Subs – Zuberbuhler, Baird, Okaka, Nevland, Riise, Smalling, Dikgacoi.

And as for the visitors

Stoke – Begovic, Wilkinson, Huth, Shawcross, Higginbotham, Delap, Whelan, Whitehead, Etherington, Fuller, Sidibe.

Subs – Simonsen, Lawrence, Pugh, Diao, Sanli, Collins, Moult.

  • no injuries is the priority, with 3 points very close behind it on the list of things to accomplish… it’s good timing for a match as it gives our starters exactly a week to recover… they can treat it as a normal week of premiership football… just don’t expect any first stringers against arsenal… can’t wait to read the papers after brede doesn’t play against arsenal… “BREDE ARSENAL BOUND!”
