After suffering a setback in his original schedule to return to fist team football, there is some pleasing news relating to Diomansy Kamara.

Joe, as we affectionately named him, is according tot eh Sunday Mirror easing towards a return to action that could see the Senegalese striker make a return for the last two months of the season.

The paper carries the following quotes that appear to give some substance to the story,

“I have been out for a long time, but my rehabilitation is going well.”

“I am starting to run and in about a month I hope to play again.”

Let`s hope for everybody`s sakes that is the case. Those goals he scored in the heroic win against Manchester City bear testament to his skills.

  • I was one of his big critic of him at the start of last season, but when he played in Hodgson’s side he did show some potential, I’m looking forward to him coming back and showing us that what he did at the end of last season can be carried forward

  • It was his second and Fulham’s third at Eastlands that really started the belief and revival last season. What a kool strike that was; I play it on you tube to revive my flagging spirits.

  • Tis very true….if you think about it we may not be in the premiership at the mo if it wasn’t for Joe!!

  • Looks good I’d say, he’s a great wide player and means that Davies can play more central or Joe can play off the strikers. We might end up with a 4-2-4.
McBride and Dacourt to join very soon according to SkySports News!

  • dont know that hell get much of a look in if we do manage to bring back the Mac and get Dacourt – anyone else get aroused by the idea of a McGod / AJ partnership…..

  • It’ll be nice to have him back. The Nevland and AJ goals were nice, but it was clear that we lacked pace up front. Hopefully Kamara hasn’t lost a step due to injury.
