Yesterday the diagnosis didn`t look good.
After being blatantly taken out of the game by some oaf playing from Amkar Perm, it was feared that Andrew Johnson wouldn`t be seen in a white shirt again until at least late October.
But, thankfully, the synopsis looks a little better now with Roy Hodgson remarking in a leading tabloid this morning,
“The ligaments around the collarbone snapped and I don`t think he`ll be doing any training for at least two to three weeks.”
“Then it`s just a question of trying to get him back as quickly as we can.”
“It`s not great news but Andy was quite hopeful he could be back before the eight weeks we`d originally feared he`d miss.”
Let`s hope AJ can make a quick recovery as there`s no doubt he brings something to the side.
