With the tickets now on sale, for season ticket holders, for the Swansea City replay, next Tuesday evening, it`s probably time to wind up our coverage of the draw down at the Liberty Stadium.

But before we do so, Roy Hodgson has spoken out about th equality of the opposition and the need for us to perform better back at Craven Cottage remarking,

“I don’t think there’s any reason to be angry.’

‘I am not angry at all because we are talking about a team (Swansea) who have done extremely well.”

‘They are unbeaten in 16 matches now, I think, and it was a jaded performance from us. We have had a lot of players away and I thought that showed a little bit.”

‘All credit to Swansea, they played very well and I congratulate them for that.”
‘I am pleased in the sense that we were able to dig in when we were short of our best and could rely on our organisation to keep our opponents at bay.”

‘We have earned a replay and I can only hope that we show something nearer the form we’ve shown this season in that game.”

‘I know we can play better going forward and I think Swansea will probably see that when they come to Craven Cottage.’

All I know is that it is going to be a cracking game!

  • Can’t wait to show them what we are made of at the cottage. I just hope itv don’t get any rights, biased little ****s.

  • Regardless of whether you had an off day or not we put in an impressive performance, like Britton said after the game, we’re usually play like that and have played even better.

  • if its on setanta, they usually will show games a pub somewhere, you can check fox soccer channel’s website for a publist for the us.

  • don’t take anything away from swansea, they played really well. we couldn’t keep the ball up front, which gave them the ball more than we needed to. we can play better, YES WE CAN!
