Although the official line was that Paul Konchesky missed the match against Bolton Wanderers with an ankle injury, a Sunday tabloid is suggesting something far more sinister.
It`s suggesting that Konchesky is hanging on for a move to be re-united with our old boss, Roy Hodgson, at Liverpool.
Although Roy implied that he wouldn`t return to Craven Cottage to lure any of our players to Anfield matters may well be forced by Konchesky`s contract situation whereby he has only a year left and may leave for free next summer.
We`ll endeavour to keep our ears to the ground!

This may be true because we have been linked heavily with defenders such as Young and Miguel…but then again it’s all probably rumors that someone made up just like the rest of it
I still feel confident Roy will stick to his word for the first year at least. Whether signing just Konchesky would constitute a ‘raid’ I don’t know. I just hope there’s no truth in the rumour.
he would be difficult to replace… i really wish we had gotten nickey shorey…
