The Daily Mirror carries an interesting little snippet hidden amongst its gossip page.

It implies that Fulham are keen to capture the Leeds United midfielder, Neil Kilkenny.

Kilkenny, an Australian, is highly rated and has previously attracted the attention of Doncaster Rovers, West Bromwich Albion and Reading.

Apparently Leeds United have turned down bids of £700,000 for the player from the aforementioned trio. The Mirror suggests that a bid of £1 million could turn the heads of the Leeds United board although we are warned that the imminent sale of Fabien Delph could result in money not being a major issue in this particular sale.

We`ll try and keep you informed of any further developments.

  • Aparently a bid for Delph has been turned down – could Leeds be about to keep Delph and sell Kilkenny?

  • We would preferebly keep both!

Kilkenny is good but I dont think good enough for Premiership football…You would be better to keep your money!

While Delph is not for sale for anything less than £6 million!
