One interesting thread in the transfer gossip column in a leading tabloid has Fulham linked with a goalkeeper.

According to the tabloid, there is a little bit of anxiety regarding the future of Mark Schwarzer and steps are being taken to safeguard our position in the event of Schwarzer being snapped up by another club.

The club, according to the aforementioned article; is looking at the Espanyol keeper, Carlo Kameni.

A fee of £3.7 million is mentioned which, in our opinion, would seem to indicate that if Schwarzer were to leave this summer then the new arrival would leapfrog David Stockdale in the pecking order!

  • If Schwarzer was to leave my head says get in another experienced keeper to replace him my heart says give Stockdale his chance tough choice this one, think Stockdale could be our long term keeper but he is still young to be number one at a prem league club

  • he needs an experienced back up… he was strong when he started but got hurt… if schwarzer wasn’t there, we would have been in a pickle… but i’d like to see him get the number 1 spot…
