After going on a loan spell at Glasgow Celtic last season many thought Diomansy Kamara wouldn`t be see again at Craven Cottage.
Even more so when he declared that he wouldn`t mind joining the Scottish side on a permanent basis.
But it seems that a summer meeting with the new incumbent of the Fulham managerial office, Mark Hughes, changed Kamara`s mind with Diomansy confessing to the tabloid press,
“If Roy Hodgson was still at Fulham, I would have definitely gone. When Mark Hughes came in, I sat with him in his office and he said, ‘You have an opportunity to play and do well` so I decided to stay.”
“I prefer his more attacking football. I had a good relationship with Hodgson but I prefer Mark Hughes.”
Happy to have you on board Diomansy although we`d suggest that extra shooting practice might be called for in training this week after some wasteful finishing last Saturday against Spurs!
