Andrew Johnson was, supposedly, out for eight weeks when he was ambushed in our Europa League qualifier.
Thankfully, our record signing is keen to get on with things and came back a lot earlier.
But, he`s having to play through the pain barrier and has remarked to the media,
“I`ve done as much damage as I possibly could do to that area. I`ve dislocated the joint and snapped all the ligaments.”
“I came back two or three weeks early but I was desperate to play.”
“It`s still giving me stick but I need to just put it at the back of my mind. In the Everton game I took a knock and for five or six days after it was painful. It`s something I need to get used to.”
Not sure if the physical nature of the Premier League might be seen as a kill or cure in this instance, are you?
